My name is Cassie Dalton. A lifetime ago, I left my career as a high school English teacher to imagine a new life for myself... I fell in love with the practice of yoga and knew I had to share it with others. Through my first yoga teacher, I also experienced the amazing healing benefits of Reiki, which I also knew I had to share!I completed my yoga teacher trainings through North Georgia Yoga Center under Mindy Searcey and am now registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-500. Additionally, I studied Reiki under Reiki Master Teacher Peggy Driscoll and became me a certified Reiki practitioner through her YoReiLife program.
I don't see yoga as exercise; instead, I view it as an opportunity to connect with yourself and honor your body. In my classes, we go slow and steady, and I offer modifications along the way to help you find what serves you best, which might change from day to day.
I teach public classes (regular and chair yoga) and private groups by appointment. Currently, all of my classes are happening online (via Zoom), but I plan to return to in-person classes when I feel it is safe enough for all of us. To see my schedule and sign up for classes, click the button below.
Reiki (pronounced rākē), means "universal life force" and is a healing modality with roots in ancient Japanese practices. Reiki sessions involve physical touch (similar to massage or acupressure) and energy channeling techniques to get your energy flowing more freely, promoting both physical and emotional well-being. While each individual experience is different, clients commonly report feelings of deep relaxation, rejuvenation, lightness, clarity, and emotional balance. Additionally, several clients have reported a decrease in physical pain from both chronic and acute conditions. Reiki is beneficial on its own, but also complements other healing therapies.
